Big Juice E-Liquid — A Guide to the Full Flavour Range

Temple of Vape Team · July 25, 2026

Big Juice is one of the biggest-selling ranges in both our shops, and the flavour list is long enough to be genuinely hard to navigate. Nearly forty options, spanning tobacco, dessert, fruit, menthol and sweet-shop flavours.

This guide groups them so you can find your way to something you'll actually like.

Tobacco and classic flavours

The starting point for most people switching from cigarettes.

  • RY4 — the classic. Tobacco with caramel and vanilla underneath, sweeter and smoother than straight tobacco. One of our consistent best-sellers and the one we most often recommend to switchers.

  • American Gold — a lighter, cleaner tobacco.

  • American Red — fuller and richer than American Gold.

If you've just switched, a tobacco flavour makes the transition feel familiar. Plenty of people move on to fruits or desserts within a few weeks, which is completely normal — our guide to finding your all-day vape covers that journey.

Menthol and ice

For anyone who smoked menthols, or just wants something cold and clean.

  • Polar Mint — straightforward, sharp menthol.

  • Double Mint — a rounder, sweeter mint.

  • Menthol Sensation — a strong hit for dedicated menthol vapers.

  • Blue Ice — iced berry rather than pure menthol.

  • Frozt — cold and sweet.

  • Double Artic — one of the coldest in the range.

  • Berry Cool — berries with a cooling finish.

  • Fire & Ice — cinnamon warmth against a menthol chill, and more interesting than it sounds.

Fruit flavours

The biggest group, and the most popular all-day choices.

  • Forest Fruits, Cherry Berry, Sweet Cherry and Orange for straightforward single-fruit options

  • Pink Lemonade, Black Squash and Twister for the sharper, soft-drink end

  • Cherry Cola for something closer to a fizzy drink

  • Pear Drop and Fruit Pastilles for sweet-shop fruit

  • Coconut for something different

Fruits tend to be kinder to coils than desserts, which is worth knowing if you're tired of replacing them — see how long a vape coil lasts.

Desserts and sweets

Rich, sweet and satisfying — but they will gunk your coils faster. That's the trade-off across every brand, not just this one.

  • Grandma's Apple Pie — baked apple and pastry, a genuine favourite

  • Banoffee Pie — banana, toffee and cream

  • Vanilla Cheesecake and Strawberry Cheesecake

  • Strawberry Milkshake — creamy and smooth

  • Vanilla Swirl — simple, soft vanilla

  • Caramel — straightforward and sweet

  • Rhubarb & Custard — the sweet-shop classic, tart and creamy

  • Sherbert Lemon, Bubblegum, Bubblegum Rockz, Refreshers and Cherry Lozange across the sweet-shop range

  • Fireball — cinnamon heat

  • Slurm, Project X Aurora and The Grinch — the more unusual mixed flavours

If you vape desserts daily, alternate with a fruit or menthol a couple of days a week. Your coils will last noticeably longer.

Picking a nicotine strength

Flavour is only half of it. Strength matters more for whether you actually stay off cigarettes:

  • A heavy smoker (20 a day or more) usually needs a higher strength to feel satisfied

  • A lighter smoker typically does well on something lower

  • Too low and you'll keep going back to cigarettes; too high and it'll feel harsh

Our guide to nicotine strength for beginners walks through it properly, and nic salt vs freebase explains which type suits your kit.

Matching liquid to your kit

Worth a moment, because the wrong pairing ruins a good liquid:

  • Small pod kits and MTL tanks — higher-resistance coils, more balanced PG/VG liquid, higher nicotine

  • Sub-ohm tanks — lower-resistance coils, high-VG liquid, lower nicotine

PG vs VG explained covers the ratios, and which coil you need helps identify what your device takes.

Frequently asked questions

Which Big Juice flavour is best for someone switching from smoking? RY4 is the one we recommend most often — tobacco with enough sweetness to be pleasant rather than harsh.

Which flavours last longest in a coil? Fruits and menthols. Desserts and anything heavily sweetened will shorten coil life.

What's the most popular flavour? RY4 and Grandma's Apple Pie are consistently the two that move fastest.

Can I try before I buy? Come into either shop and we'll talk you through what's likely to suit you.

Do you stock the full range? Both shops carry the range, though individual flavours move quickly — worth calling ahead or ordering online for click & collect if you're after something specific.

Not sure where to start? Our Duston and Kingsthorpe shops are open seven days a week, and picking a flavour is a lot easier in conversation than off a list.

Vaping products are for adults aged 18 and over.
