PIXL 8000 Refill Pods, Flavours and What To Do If Yours Is Locked

The PIXL 8000 is a kit, not a throwaway. The pod comes out, a new one clips in, and the device charges. Two things bring people here: finding the flavour again, and a PIXL that has stopped firing.

Refill pods and flavours

We keep nine PIXL refill pods and fourteen kits in stock. The pods on the shelf right now are Starmix, Cherry Edition, Cherry Ice, Cherry Pop, Blue Razz Cherry, Cola Lime, Fresh Mint, Pink Lemonade and Pink Razz.

Cherry runs through half that list, which is not an accident — it is what sells. Spearmint and Paradise Punch are out of stock at the moment rather than discontinued, so it is worth asking.

Hawaiian Oasis and Starmix are the two people ask for by name. Starmix is on the site. Hawaiian Oasis we hold in the shops but it is not listed online at the moment — ring either shop or ask when you are in, rather than assuming it has gone.

If you want the Oasis flavour in a bottle instead, there is a PIXL Oasis nic salt in 10mg and 20mg, and plenty of it. Same flavour, about a third of the running cost.

Every PIXL 8000 pod fits every PIXL 8000

The flavour names are flavours. Any PIXL 8000 pod will fit any PIXL 8000 device, so pick on taste, not on matching the box.

If your PIXL is locked or has stopped firing

Nearly always one of four things, in the order worth checking:

1. It needs charging. These are rechargeable. A PIXL that has gone quiet after a few days is usually just flat — USB-C on the base, give it twenty minutes.

2. The pod is not seated. Pull it out and push it back until it clicks. A pod that is a millimetre proud will not make contact.

3. Auto-cutoff. Take too long a draw and it stops on purpose. Let go, wait a couple of seconds, draw again.

4. The pod is empty. Prefilled pods do not show you a level. A burnt or thin taste with a device that still lights up means the pod, not the battery.

If none of those brings it back, bring it into either shop. We would rather look at it than have you bin a kit that is fine.

If your flavour has vanished

PIXL's flavour range moves around more than most. A pod can be gone from wholesalers for weeks and then come back, which is why it is worth knowing your second choice before you need it.
