Sweet is the confectionery end of the range: bubblegum, sherbet, jelly sweets, cola bottles and the rest of the pick-and-mix. It overlaps with fruity, but the distinction is real: a sweet blend leads with sugar and candy, a fruity one leads with the fruit.

These are the flavours people love immediately and tire of fastest. Flavour fatigue - where the same taste stops registering after a few days - hits harder here than anywhere else, so if you are eyeing a 100ml shortfill of something very sweet, buy the 10ml first.

Sweeteners are hard on coils. Expect to change one twice as often on a heavily sweetened candy juice as on a plain fruit or menthol. If a sweet blend is your all-day vape, coils in multipacks work out cheaper.

For pod kits, sweet nic salts at 10mg or 20mg work well. For sub-ohm, look for something that pairs the sugar with an edge - a sour or citrus note stops it becoming sickly. See sour.
