Elux Nic Salt Flavours: All 48, and Which to Buy First

If you got on with Elux bars and you're stood in front of a wall of bottles wondering which one tastes the same, this is the short answer: Elux bottled the flavours that made the bars sell, there are 48 of them on our shelves, and four bottles cost £10.

That's roughly twenty disposables' worth of vaping for a tenner.

The four people come back for

• Hawaii Sunrise — passionfruit and orange, tropical without the suncream note some tropicals have. The one customers ask for by name.

• Blue Razz Cherry — sweet blue raspberry with cherry underneath. Sweet, not sour, and the safest first pick if you're unsure.

• Cherry Sour Raspberry — genuinely sour. Buy this one if sweet flavours turn sickly on you by lunchtime.

• Fresh Menthol Mojito — lime and mint, properly cold without tasting medicinal.

The rest of the 48, by what you're after

Fruity is the biggest group by far — apple peach, grape berry, strawberry kiwi, raspberry watermelon, lemon peach passionfruit, blueberry sour raspberry, kiwi passionfruit guava. If you liked a fruit bar, it's in there.

Sweet shop — grape gummy bear, blue razz gummy, blueberry bubblegum, rainbow. These are the ones that taste like the pick'n'mix rather than the fruit.

Cold — menthol, fresh mint, lemon mint, banana ice, cherry ice, pineapple ice, blackberry ice. Ice on the end means cooling, not mint flavour.

Drinks — cola, pink lemonade, berry lemonade, blackcurrant lemonade, oasis, summer dream.

Tobacco — straight tobacco and vanilla tobacco. Both worth a go if you've just come off cigarettes and fruit feels wrong.

Which strength

• 20mg — the like-for-like swap if you came off a disposable, because bars were 20mg. Start here.

• 10mg — a step down for when 20mg starts feeling harsh, usually a few weeks in.

• 5mg — worth it only if you're vaping heavily and want to taper.

Start at 20mg. Coming down later is easy; starting too low is what sends people back to cigarettes, because it never quite satisfies and you end up chain-vaping to compensate.

The price, plainly

Singles are £4.50. Four for £10 makes the fourth bottle free and works out at £2.50 a bottle.

Almost nobody buys one, so treat £2.50 as the real price. A 10ml bottle at 20mg lasts most people about four to five days in a pod kit — so £10 is a fortnight or more of vaping.

What you need to put it in

Any refillable pod kit. Elux salts are 50/50, so they run happily in the higher-resistance pods those kits ship with, 0.8Ω and up — nothing special required.

If you haven't got one yet, a pod kit is around £15 and pays for itself against disposables inside a fortnight.
