Uwell - Caliburn G4 Pro Koko Vape Kit

The Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro Koko is the Caliburn for people who want to see what the device is doing. The 2-inch touch screen is the whole argument for it: wattage, battery percentage and puff count all readable at a glance, and changed with a finger rather than by clicking a button five times.

It carries the biggest battery in the Caliburn range at 2000mAh, and it is the square Koko body rather than the tall pen shape - it sits flat in a pocket and does not roll off a table.

Is the screen worth it?

Honestly, it depends on you. If you set a wattage once and leave it, you will not use it, and the Caliburn G5 Lite does the same 35W in a simpler device for less. If you run a 0.9Ω on nic salts during the day and drop to a 0.6Ω on a shortfill in the evening, changing power with a finger is genuinely quicker and you will use it daily.

Which pods does it take?

It ships with Caliburn GPP cartridges, and Caliburn G3 pods fit it as well. That is worth knowing if you are coming from a G3 or a G4 - the pods already in your drawer will work, so upgrading costs you nothing in spares.

Cartridges come in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω. Go higher for a tighter, cooler draw on high-strength salts and lower for a warmer, more open one.

Filling and airflow

It fills from the side, so you are not pulling the cartridge out to top it up - a small thing that stops being small once you have done it every day for a month. Airflow is stepless rather than clicked, so you can set the draw exactly where you want it instead of choosing between two settings.

Full specifications are in the table below. Both Northampton shops keep one on the counter if you would rather hold it first - the Koko shape is the sort of thing you decide about in your hand.
