Which Voopoo Coil or Pod Do I Need?
PnP, PnP X, TPP, ITO, Argus and Vmate - Voopoo run several platforms at once. Find the right coil for your device, and t…
Vaporesso make two pod ranges that sit next to each other on the shelf, look related, and take completely different pods. Choosing between them is the decision that matters - the individual kit within a range matters much less, because every kit in a range shares pods.
Get the range right and nothing you buy later is wasted. Get it wrong and your spares fit nothing.
XROS if you are switching from cigarettes, or you want something small you will actually carry.
Luxe X if you already vape, you use shortfills, or you want fewer refills and fewer charges.
Size. The XROS is the smaller range, and the Mini and Nano versions genuinely disappear in a pocket. The Luxe X is bigger in every version - not heavy, but you know it is there.
Draw. XROS pods run tighter, which is what most people want coming off cigarettes: a firm mouth-to-lung inhale rather than an airy one. Luxe X pods go looser and warmer, which suits lower-strength liquid and a more relaxed draw.
Capacity and battery. The Luxe X holds more and lasts longer. If you are refilling an XROS twice a day, that is the reason to move up.
Liquid. High-strength nic salts belong on the XROS. Shortfills and 50/50s make more sense on a Luxe X, where the lower-resistance pods can do something with them.
An XROS Mini, almost every time. Small enough to keep on you, tight enough to feel like what you are replacing, and cheap enough that a second one for the car is not a big decision.
The XROS 6 Mini is the one we hand over most often.
A Luxe X3. It is the balance point of the bigger range - more power and capacity than an XROS without being a brick, and it takes the same pods as every other Luxe X.
Worth being blunt, because it is the mistake we correct at the counter: XROS pods do not fit a Luxe X, and Luxe X pods do not fit an XROS.
Within a range everything shares. Across ranges, you start again.
XROS pods come in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω
Luxe X pods come in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω
Higher ohms for higher nicotine, in both cases.
There is a full XROS range guide and a Luxe X range guide if you want to go deeper on the individual kits. If you already own a Vaporesso and just need the right pod, the coil finder will identify it from the device name.
Or bring it into either Northampton shop. We would rather spend two minutes working out which range suits you than sell you a kit whose pods you end up not wanting.
