The Vaporesso Xros 6 is the one to pick if you want to see what your vape is doing. It has a screen, it charges fast enough to change how you use it, and it takes the same pods as every Xros we have put on the counter for years.

The 1800mAh battery is the biggest in the range, but the part you notice day to day is the charging. Ten minutes on the cable puts roughly half of it back. A flat battery at lunchtime stops being something you have to plan around.

Xros 6 or Xros 6 Mini?

Both draw on the same pods and the same airflow. The difference is the screen. This one shows you battery, wattage, pod resistance and puff count, and lets you set the power yourself. The Xros 6 Mini has no screen at all - you inhale and it works. If you like knowing the numbers, buy this. If you would rather never think about it, buy the Mini.

Which pod do I start on?

Two come in the box. The 0.6Ω is fitted and is the warmer, more open draw - the better match for a shortfill. The 0.8Ω in the box is tighter and cooler, and it is the one for nic salts, so start there if you have recently stopped smoking. Changing them takes seconds, so try both before you decide.

If you already own an Xros

It takes the standard Xros series pods - the same ones your Xros 3, 4 or 5 uses. Any spares in your drawer still fit, and the 0.4Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω pods work in it too if you want a different draw.
